Paperbilities
Building a bridge between substrates and designers

The Challenge
Convertible Solutions is known across the print industry for manufacturing and converting innovative, high-impact substrates. Their materials don’t just elevate printed pieces—they help amplify the message. While the print world already recognized their value, the company had a bigger vision: to make sure their substrates were spec’d at the beginning of the design process—not just after a print quote.
The challenge? There was a notable void in magazines and platforms tailored to creative professionals. Designers lacked dedicated content that spoke their language and showcased print possibilities. And without a large sales team, Convertible needed a smart, scalable way to build relationships with creative agencies and designers who could influence decisions early in the process.

Approach
Convertible’s executive team recognized the need for a more inventive and intentional approach to market engagement—one that celebrated creativity while quietly selling the potential of their products. We collaborated with their sales and marketing teams to develop Paperbilities, a bold content platform designed to engage and inspire the creative community.
The platform includes:
- A beautifully produced quarterly magazine full of interviews, inspiration, and design-forward storytelling
- A monthly email series to stay top-of-mind
- A dedicated website that brings together resources, ideas, and past issues
Most importantly, we involved the sales team early—empowering them to help source interviewees, identify prospects, and use the magazine as a door opener.
